About
Orthodox Kashrut of Connecticut is a project of Beth David Synagogue in West Hartford, Connecticut, and is administered by the synagogue’s rabbinic staff. Beth David is West Hartford’s oldest Orthodox synagogue and has been an affiliated member of the Orthodox Union longer than any other synagogue in central Connecticut.
Rabbi Yitzchok Adler, the KCT administrator, has over four decades of kashrut supervision and certification experience. He has provided rabbinic services for several of the nationally recognized kashrut agencies including the OU, KVH and Chof-K. He is a respected resource for companies seeking kashrut information; Rabbi Adler’s relationships enable him to counsel new and established clients on how kashrut can benefit their business plans.
KCT operates in compliance with the kashrut standards set by the major national agencies, and is a member of a network of collaborative regional kashrut agencies.
